The students have finished their poetry writing unit. Students read the story Love That Dog by Sharon Creech. Like Jack, the students shared their personal stories about their pets. The students grew and developed confidence in their writing abilities.\r\n\r\nOur culminating event featured the students writing and sharing their poetry. The dog party decorations were used to decorate our classroom. Also, the students created a dog-themed craft. The treat boxes were filled to the brim with dog-themed goodies and treats.
