They love to pretend to do laundry and play grocery story. Playdoh gets used almost daily for various activities. My kids love all of it!! We have worked hard on using our imagination and building language by role play and free play activities. \r\n\r\nThe next step in my classroom is to continue to build language through play. We have numerous kids with communication devices, used as their voice; and they are starting to make requests as well. We use these items daily to avoid behaviors that result from unmet sensory needs.\r\nEach morning my students have sensory and movement breaks. We rotate through several items including the ones you helped provide.
