We used the self-adhesive stripes to keep our big carpet in place. The children are no longer tripping over the edges that would come up off the floor. It has also helped with children pulling it back just to see what's under it. As teachers, our main job is to keep them safe, and this addition has helped us tremendously.\r\n Laminating sheets keeps our materials safe for the children. We made a firefighter matching game that the children enjoyed doing. First, we let them look at the pictures to match, then we turned them over so they had to remember where the matched picture was. We use the laminating sheets to protect their pictures. We apply magnetic tape to the back so it will stick on our feeling board. \r\n Our children run and play hard, and with that come accidents. Our booboo buddies are something they enjoy using to help them feel better. We could not do any of this without your donation. We want to thank you for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1757526973935,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-necessities/9641725/","projectTitle":"Classroom Necessities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vicki","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3546855_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1646181297567","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3546855"},{"teacherId":3546855,"projectId":9039392,"letterContent":"Let me start by saying you are amazing. We wanted to give our children the opportunity to give their mother figure a special gift from them. Your donation made this possible. The picture frames are a big hit with the children. They were so excited to put a piece of their artwork into the frame. They were then told to give it to their mom for Mother's Day! They were inspired to pick their best painting.\r\n We also showed them the tubes of lotion they would pick from to put with their gift. They were so happy to discover that it would be included with their gift. Most of our children have not been fortunate enough to wrap anything for anyone. Their eyes became very wide when they saw the bags and the tissue for them to use.\r\n This has been a fantastic experience for us as educators, but most of all, to see the children empowered to give their loved one something they did themselves was priceless.","fullyFundedDate":1737750188794,"projectUrl":"project/making-mothers-day-magical/9039392/","projectTitle":"Making Mother's Day Magical","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vicki","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3546855_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1646181297567","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3546855"},{"teacherId":9438141,"projectId":8182734,"letterContent":"My students and I are so grateful to have been able to build a garden with the materials we received through this donation. The children helped plant the seeds and after a few weeks were able to see the growth. We were even able to come back after summer break to huge sunflowers that the children then got to harvest sunflower seeds from. The garden was only one project I was able to experience with my students. The butterflies we received were the highlight. The students got to watch them grow from caterpillars and once they were molted into their butterfly stage, the children got to release them near our garden. The butterflies even stuck around for a few days and a few students even had the butterflies land on them, best experience ever. The experience didn't stop there, I was able to tie this all together with a family project. The children got to create their own garden on paper complete with butterfly cutouts stuck to pipe cleaners so that they seemed to be flying around.\r\nThese donations helped children from low-income households experience things they might have otherwise missed out on. For that I am extremely grateful to each and every one of you.","fullyFundedDate":1707359109515,"projectUrl":"project/take-pride-in-a-homegrown-garden-give-b/8182734/","projectTitle":"Take Pride in a Homegrown Garden, Give Butterflies a Home","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Christina","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9438141"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_128253","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":83,"percentAsian":15,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":31,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Weighted Average","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":73.1,"schoolId":128253,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodridge Preschool on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodridge Preschool","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/twin-rivers-unified-school-district/woodridge-preschool/128253"}
