They have also been able to then recreate objects within CAD software to very close precision. They have been able to then 3D print their objects and discover how close they really were. \r\n Some of my students live in trailers (or are homeless) and have no access to any technology other than what they have access to at the school. Being able to utilize different tech and see what it can do (and what THEY can do) broadens their minds and lets them see that there may be more to life after high school than what they previously thought. \r\n Thank you again for donating to my students and believing in them. The students who participate in cooking usually do not have a strong background in working with food. The items your donations purchased are making teaching the students easier.\r\n\r\nThe food coloring helped with the frosting colors for sugar cookies, and the parchment paper is always a plus to help pans stay clean from baking and easy release of food from the pans. The timers allow students to bake their items at different times, especially when the oven timer only times one thing.\r\n\r\nWe are lucky at our school that the culinary room holds 5 kitchens so many students can learn kitchen basics as well as basics of cooking. And your donation allows all of our students to further their education in cooking. This will then lead to the love of cooking so much that our students will swarm to high school cooking with upper level recipes and skills.","fullyFundedDate":1731606041772,"projectUrl":"project/cooking-and-baking/8571875/","projectTitle":"Cooking and Baking","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rucker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6573205"},{"teacherId":6573205,"projectId":8958067,"letterContent":"The generosity of all of you have really touched my heart! Teaching is challenging, but when the right tools are available, it makes the learning process more fun, and in my classes, creativity is the name of the game. \r\n\r\nThe pictures shown are some examples of what the students have chosen to make in sewing and wood shop. They come to me with their ideas, and we discuss options, students choose the way they want to progress, and I let them go! As I walk around the shop or classroom, I help them tweak their methods, and then I am always amazed at their ingenuity. I think the kids will work out their projects in a certain way, and they give it their own little twist, and I am amazed at their outcome. \r\n\r\nIn education, differentiation is so needed since everyone learns differently.
