Students have been excited to see the many boxes arrive to our classroom containing new tools to be used during center time. Students are asking many questions about each new tool and eagerly await for me to incorporate them into our classroom. \r\n\r\nOn any given day, kindergarteners are practicing literacy and math skills. Today, students were using STEM tubs to build, sort, and compare towers that were built. The inquisitive nature of kindergarten students were asking and answering questions including:\r\nWhat is longer? Shorter? What attributes can you sort objects by? How many objects did you use to build your tower?\r\n\r\nKindergarten students are busy learning letter names and sounds. The letter locks and keys are a class favorite! Our new writing tools and mini magna doodles motivate students to apply their new skills in letter writing. Your gift truly helps fill the gap and allow new and innovative materials to be available to my kindergarten students. \r\n\r\nI am grateful for your investment in the education of the next generation of leaders!
