My students have really enjoyed using all of the materials that we were able to get through this Donors Choose campaign. The fine motor games have helped the kids refine their skills and practice developing the small muscles in their hands in a fun way. These skills help children with handwriting, creating art projects, and being able to successfully participate in the general education classroom. Some of the larger materials, such as the swing and the sensory tiles, have benefited the children as part of our motor room. The students use this room to help them to calm and self-regulate.
