Your generosity is already making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.\r\n\r\nLearning about emotions is especially powerful for students in special education. These books give our students the tools to better understand themselves and others. When students can recognize and name their feelings, they are more able to express their needs in positive ways rather than through frustration or challenging behaviors. This not only supports their emotional growth but also creates a calmer, more supportive classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThrough the Little Spot series, our students are developing empathy, problem-solving skills, and stronger relationships with peers and adults. They are practicing strategies to manage big emotions, building confidence, and gaining independence. These skills extend far beyond our classroom—they support success throughout the school day and in everyday life.\r\n\r\nOur classroom is a place where students learn at their own levels. It's where they come when they need a moment to reset before challenging themselves to \"catch up\" with their grade-level peers. It's where we spend much of our day learning, growing, and celebrating progress—big and small. Because of your kindness, we now have engaging, developmentally appropriate resources to guide these important conversations about feelings and self-regulation.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their social and emotional growth. The reading chair has quickly become a favorite spot for the students—a cozy place where they can settle in with a book and feel excited about reading. It adds warmth to our room and makes reading time feel special, whether it's for a read-aloud as a group or for students enjoying books on their own. The chair has given us a way to make reading not just a part of our day, but a joyful experience that the children look forward to.\r\n\r\nThe classroom storage has been just as impactful. Having a place to neatly organize books, supplies, and materials helps our classroom run more smoothly and gives students easy access to the things they need. It not only saves time and reduces clutter but also helps students take responsibility for keeping our space cared for. Together, these donations have made our classroom feel more welcoming, organized, and inspiring, and we are so grateful for the difference they make in our daily learning.","fullyFundedDate":1742773641665,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-reading-chair-supply-storage/8967694/","projectTitle":"Cozy Reading Chair & Supply Storage!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Walton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6288167_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1551281546855","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mwalton"},{"teacherId":9321894,"projectId":9102751,"letterContent":"I am soooo thrilled to give my class just a little appreciation gift today.
