One of the most memorable moments was when a small group worked together to make \"pumpkin soup\" using leaves, water, and natural materials they collected. They discussed ingredients, took turns stirring, and proudly served it to their friends in pretend play. This special area has quickly become one of the children's favorite places in the classroom. They love having a comfortable and inviting corner where they can relax, explore books, and develop positive reading habits at their own pace. The soft pillows, quiet atmosphere, and familiar routines help them feel safe, calm, and excited about reading. For many students, this space has become a daily part of their routine—a place where they can settle in, take a break, and enjoy the joy of stories.\r\n\r\nWe have also noticed how much the students enjoy sharing books with their friends in this cozy space. Many of them choose to sit together in pairs or small groups, look through the pages, and talk about the pictures, characters, and events in the book. These moments of shared reading not only build friendships but also strengthen their social-emotional development. Students are practicing communication, cooperation, turn-taking, and expressive language in a natural and meaningful way. The library has become a place where students learn from one another as much as they learn from the books themselves.\r\n\r\nAnother wonderful part of our library time is the storytelling that happens so naturally. Students often pick up a familiar book and retell the story using the pictures as support. They recall characters, sequence events, and use expressive language to share the story with their peers or teachers. These retelling moments show their growing comprehension skills as well as their confidence as young readers. It is inspiring to watch them step into the role of storyteller and take ownership of the stories they love.\r\n\r\nAll of this has been made possible because of your generosity. Thank you so much for your thoughtful and generous donations to our classroom. Your support has helped create a safe, cozy, and inviting library space that truly meets the needs of our TK learners. Because of your kindness, our students now have a special place where they can read, learn, imagine, and enjoy books every single day. This library area not only supports academic growth but also nurtures a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nWe deeply appreciate your continued partnership and support. Our students benefit in so many meaningful ways, and this cozy library space is a perfect example of how your contributions make a real difference in their daily learning experience. Thank you again for helping us create a warm, joyful, and literacy-rich environment for our children.","fullyFundedDate":1758255066814,"projectUrl":"project/a-cozy-library-corner-for-joyful-reading/9667681/","projectTitle":"A Cozy Library Corner for Joyful Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10049674_orig.jpg?crop=1080,1080,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764477846909","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10049674"},{"teacherId":10032689,"projectId":9346182,"letterContent":"Thank you, immensely, for your donations.
