They are able to grab a pencil, crayon or marker from the pencil dispenser or storage drawers. They have a spot for their cell phones when they come in to my classroom, and can take a handheld calculator. This takes away the temptations of roaming on the chromebooks. \r\n\r\nThe storage drawers also help keep other classroom supplies organized for them such as colored pencils, rulers, and scissors. The 2 dry erasers help keep our personal whiteboards and large white boards clean and neat. This helps with engagement during our lessons. It also allows me to quickly assess if they are getting the correct answers on the problems as we go along.\r\n\r\nAgain thank you so much for helping me fund these supplies for my 7th grade Special Education Students.","fullyFundedDate":1757469086218,"projectUrl":"project/great-start-to-year-8/9493068/","projectTitle":"Great Start to Year 8","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Dodson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8386087"},{"teacherId":8386087,"projectId":9151676,"letterContent":"This is helping to start my 25-26 school year strong with essential supplies that were depleted. I sincerely appreciate each and every donation. THe pencils, Expo markers, and cap erasures are going to ensure that my students start this school year on the right foot. The tissues and Clorox wipes will ensure that my classroom stays healthy and germ free this school year. I cannot wait to load my pencil dispenser with all of the pencils that you helped me get for my classroom. Working in a Title 1 school where all of the students are free-reduced lunch means that I have to get creative for basic supplies.","fullyFundedDate":1741640145589,"projectUrl":"project/mr-ds-classroom-supply-restock/9151676/","projectTitle":"Mr. D.'s Classroom Supply Restock","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Dodson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8386087"},{"teacherId":8386087,"projectId":7187354,"letterContent":"Having these books have allowed my students to read and study middle school literary elements while being able to actually read the books for themselves. These books have allowed me to supplement the curriculum, and be able to have them read for themselves. This instills such a sense of accomplishment on their parts.
