This project of outdoor equipment will help (around 80 students) 6 classes of 3 & 4 year olds develop gross motor skills and a body strong core. Thanks to you all of my students have a space in my room and all of my vocabulary is ready to use. I went into this year with 19 chairs and 20 kids in my classes, next year I will have up to 25 students per class so the chair is definitely going to be beneficial! I also was able to laminate all of my vocabulary for the year so my students have the opportunity to practice their vocabulary whenever we have the time. Many staff members are always looking for model students to earn a prize. \r\nOne boy in particular was so excited to finally get a matching watch like his friend. A student before him got a cowboy cash. He chose a watch and so the next time the little boy went to find one like his friend but we were all out. Until this project came along there were more watches and the next time the boy earned a cash he was finally able to match his friend. They are vital to a classroom environment. There are many things we love to do with books! \r\nReading in my classroom starts with all the voices I can produce as we read about the different characters. My students and I discuss the engineering design process as they are presented with a new problem. For example, Barbie needs to get to her own talent show but the school does not have a ramp for the stage. Students must design a ramp for Barbie to get to her talent show. \r\nIn general all my students are always so excited and when I show them the book we are ready they are ready to start guessing what we will learn.
