With the laminating sheets and sheet protectors, we were able to create updated visual schedules, token boards, and hands-on materials that we use every single day. We also used the art supplies to create personalized Mother's Day crafts, and we will continue to use the supplies in art group for the remainder of the year, ESY, and the following school year I'm sure! We were even able to make editable flashcards for math facts that allow the use of various strategies, and laminated short reading passages with comprehension questions for repeated practice.\r\n\r\nThe kids were so excited when they saw the new materials come in (especially the art supplies)! It's made a big difference having tools that are sturdy, easy to clean, and reusable. We're using them across all subjects now, and it's helping my students stay more engaged and build independence. My students use the pop up paper materials during the first 15 mins or last 15 mins of our class,and each comment is hand written and provides a look at how the first step in our door advertisement was thought out.\r\n\r\nThank you for the pillows students squeezed in the grounding exercises to calm down. The pillows provided comfort in seating on our older chairs.. Your donations: chairs, post-it pop ups, and pillows have made a significant increase in producing business ideas in class and focused my students. to calmness. Additionally, they worked in groups and stayed productive. during class. My freshman students learned the four =P's of advertisements, they learned about christmas promotions for the largest retail season.\r\nSenior students using the resources donated created a door pop up with a jeopardy door ads. Students, showcased their talents with designing accounting questions in Jeopardy style.\r\nUnfortunately, students working on their ideals and did not return their forms on time to release their pics for this website. Students did take pics but arranged their works on the tables and used a holiday theme to showcase their new table and what they produced like many hand written ad ideas. \r\nAll students did not get the photo release forms signed by parents we were awaiting for the delivery of the replacement for a damaged base and thestudents went on xmas break.
