The visual timer has been a huge help for my students—many of them struggle with transitions, and being able to \"see\" time has given them a sense of control and calm. The laminated materials have quickly become favorites in our lessons. We've made reusable sight word cards, matching games, and behavior charts that the kids can handle over and over without them wearing out. They're so proud when they get to use materials that feel special and made just for them.\r\n\r\nOne of the sweetest moments was when my students saw the snack basket for the first time. Their eyes lit up knowing there were snacks available if they needed a little boost to get through the day. Something so simple has made them feel cared for and has created such a positive atmosphere in our room. It's been wonderful to see them focus better and smile more because of something you helped provide.\r\n\r\nThese items are already woven into our daily routines, and they will continue to support us as we dive into new projects and lessons. From phonics games to math centers, to simply having the comfort of a snack when needed, your donations are making a lasting difference in my students' learning and confidence. We are so thankful for the love and support you've given our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746544791347,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-kindergarten-class-with-snacks-a/9034542/","projectTitle":"Help My Kindergarten Class With Snacks and Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. King","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7910115"},{"teacherId":9569821,"projectId":9090024,"letterContent":"Thank you for your kindness! My students love our new wobble stools! They are more excited to come back to small groups now that they know they get to wiggle while they learn! I've seen an improvement in my students' attitudes towards our classroom since receiving these stools. One student asked if he could borrow a stool for intervention time while he worked, and now he stays focused much longer than before. I can tell his level or frustration by how much movement he is doing on the stool, so now I even know when to offer him support! These were a game changer in so many ways!\r\nWe started back to school 3 days ago, so my new students will benefit from these as well. Our first unit will be on balanced and unbalanced forces. Students will be using limited wooden, metal, plastic, and paper items to create their own balanced, moving sculpture on a wooden dowel in various ways, observing the structure's form. It's going to be a fun time!\r\nThank you again for your generosity. Your support changes students' lives by allowing us to meet the needs of students on many different levels.","fullyFundedDate":1744033012738,"projectUrl":"project/wobble-stools-for-my-wiggly-worms/9090024/","projectTitle":"Wobble Stools For My Wiggly Worms!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Deeren","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9569821_orig.png?crop=332,332,x0,y34&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720313382520","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tiffany-deeren"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_56544","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":915,"numTeachers":33,"percentFrplEligible":57,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":85,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"27.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":56.1,"schoolId":56544,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about White County Central School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"White County Central School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/white-county-central-school-district/white-co-central-school/56544"}
