Because of your support, they were able to use and interpret CAD programs to make and design their own ideas, inventions, and art. They went to work, and because we had filament, we students had the ability to test their product or idea until it was perfect. Once their prototypes were complete, they were then able to print the model their way. These students gave up their summer and then asked if we could add more print days! We are learning to label quadrilaterals, and it puts them in charge to design shapes, code, and then measure to see if they meet each requirement of the shapes they were assigned. Not only were students engages, but it brought their learning and understanding to a new level. Students, without even knowing it, were learning new skills while having fun.
