Some come from households where resources are stretched thin; others move between living situations and have little consistency in their personal belongings. For many of them, even basic hygiene items aren't always accessible. When a student worries about how they smell, whether they look clean, or if someone will tease them because of something entirely out of their control, it becomes incredibly hard for them to focus on learning. It becomes hard for them to feel confident, safe, or seen.\r\n\r\nYour donation does far more than provide deodorant or a toothbrush. It gives students dignity. It gives them a sense of agency in caring for themselves. It helps level the playing field so that they can walk into the classroom feeling a little lighter, a little more comfortable, and a lot more valued.
