These may sound like simple supplies, but in a classroom like ours, they make all the difference. Your support shows our kids that their learning matters, and for that, I am truly grateful.\r\n\r\nIn Innovations, students from kindergarten through fifth grade rotate into my classroom once a week for a hands-on, technology-focused learning experience. They bring their iPads from their general education classrooms and spend 45 minutes exploring, creating, problem-solving, and building real skills they will carry with them into middle school and beyond. With such a wide range of ages and skill levels in and out of the room all day, it is vital that we have the right tools to keep learning seamless, safe, and effective.\r\n\r\nThe sanitizing wipes you provided are not just a convenience—they are a necessity. With so many students sharing iPads, keyboards, and other materials, the risk of spreading germs is always present. Your donation helps us maintain a healthy classroom environment, where every student can focus on learning rather than worrying about whether the device in front of them is clean. These wipes are used daily, often multiple times a day, and they allow me to model for students the importance of caring for shared spaces and equipment. In a very real sense, your generosity helps protect both student health and instructional time.\r\n\r\nThe headphones and adapters are equally transformative. In a classroom where twenty or more students are working on individual projects, noise can quickly become a distraction. Some are building slideshows in Keynote, others are coding in Scratch Jr., while others are practicing typing on Typing.com. Without headphones, that mix of sounds would overwhelm the room. With your support, every student can tune in to their own task, focus deeply, and build confidence in their abilities. The adapters make it possible for different types of headphones to connect to various iPad models, ensuring no child is left out or limited by the tools available.\r\n\r\nIt is often easy to underestimate the impact of these kinds of supplies, but in my classroom they directly support equity. Many of my students come from low-income households and do not have access to personal headphones or other tech tools outside of school. By providing these resources in class, you remove barriers and allow every child to participate fully, no matter their background. You give them the chance to focus, to hear, to create, and to succeed on the same level as their peers.\r\n\r\nYour donation also sends a message that students can feel: someone out there cares enough about their learning to invest in it. That sense of being valued motivates them to try harder, push through challenges, and take pride in their work. As a teacher, I see the ripple effects of that confidence every day, and it is inspiring.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing not just in supplies, but in children—their health, their focus, and their future. Your generosity ensures that the Innovations classroom is a place where all students, regardless of grade or circumstance, can explore technology with the tools they need to succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1751724982072,"projectUrl":"project/future-ready/9417095/","projectTitle":"Future Ready!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lorefice","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8377236_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1668622485367","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8377236"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_64472","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":622,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":4,"percentLatinx":55,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":52.1,"schoolId":64472,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about West Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"West Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/coolidge-unified-school-district/west-elementary-school/64472"}
