Sneaky Elves has been wonderful for building focus, patience, and positive peer interactions. I've seen students who are usually hesitant to participate light up with confidence as they play and succeed alongside their classmates. They ask everyday if they are going to be able to play these games.\r\n\r\nBeyond the skills they support, these games have strengthened our classroom community. Students are learning how to win and lose gracefully, encourage one another, and work together—all essential social skills for first grade. They also have helped to strengthen their phonemic awareness skills.
