My students read the book and loved every second of it! When we do novel studies in my classroom, students get a chance to hear a book read aloud, while following along in their own book. This builds reading and listening comprehension, while also building valuable decoding and reading fluency skills. \r\n\r\nTo accompany any novel study I do in my classroom, I also have an activity packet that goes along with the chapters. For Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, students answered comprehension questions, wrote summaries, and did other fun activities that helped them to make inferences about characters and make predictions about the book.\r\n\r\nMy class thoroughly enjoyed Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. I had some of the highest engagement in Language Arts lessons that I have ever seen! Students who are typically not confident readers were eager to read aloud, answer questions, and be an active part of each lesson! I can't wait to read this book with classes for years to come!","fullyFundedDate":1757274782542,"projectUrl":"project/where-our-school-meets-the-moon/9641601/","projectTitle":"Where Our School Meets the Moon!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Green","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9205240_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y120&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755877095279","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9205240"},{"teacherId":9106927,"projectId":9395613,"letterContent":"You have made our classroom infinitely better, for that we are eternally grateful.
