We have been so lucky to have you support our classroom and my students loved the supplies. \r\n\r\nIn our room we have focused on creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment for students and your participation in our class gifts have really encouraged student to strive to be their best selves. Each week the students wait to see who is the student of the week and gets to receive a new desk pet. We have also had a lot of fun with the small desk pets that we have received as well. The students have been able to nominate one another for these special gifts and I have loved seeing the student recognizing and encouraging kindness in one another. \r\n\r\nNot only have we loved our little pets, but the students are also loving our new classroom rug. Each morning we gather as a classroom community around our rug and start our day by sharing how something special whether that be our weekend, how we can be school leaders or how we can be kind and caring to one another. Not only do they enjoy our rug during circle but during independent work time students love sitting on our classroom carpet. \r\n\r\nLast but not least we are extremely grateful for our individual bins. Our classroom is small and we do not have much storage, now with these bins we are able to work on our executive functioning and we are working on how we can keep ourselves organized and keep our classroom space clean. \r\n\r\nI want to thank you so much for your support and donation to our space, we are so grateful to have such an amazing state that supports our teachers and students.
