For many of them, having their own working headphones has made learning more personal and peaceful — and it's amazing to see how proud they are to take care of their own pair.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only enhanced our learning environment but also shown my students that there are people in the world who care about their education and success. The students love getting to choose their seating spaces. It has made spacing, when needed, very easy. I have already had one student say they wanted to sit away from others, and they were able to place their seat where they needed it to be. This has given my students ownership and more autonomy in the classroom. Which, in turn, gives them more responsibility for their choices. They love getting called to come get their desk, and are much more likely to sit quietly so they get the first choice of where to sit! What's even better is how involved in the cleanup they have become; they want to bring the desks back, unlike the old table and chairs, where pushing your chair in was a hassle. It has been so wonderful to see students at this age enjoying the ownership of where to sit. On top of that, we have so much more room for movement activities after our lessons!! \r\nThank you all for making this happen.","fullyFundedDate":1748124840073,"projectUrl":"project/lets-create-an-active-and-engaging-heal/9367831/","projectTitle":"Let's Create an Active and Engaging Health Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. L","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10039696_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748010121872","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10039696"},{"teacherId":4635863,"projectId":9156152,"letterContent":"My students were so excited when we received our new supplies! Before these, we had cardboard ones made and they were always breaking, these made my students want to do math more!! \r\n As for the flashlights, my coworker and I would turn the lights off and let both our classes use our flashlights to do some flashlight reading. Watching my students want to read really made my day! We also used these flashlights for our science unit on light.
