A third group built an alarm system that flashed images and played a melody when triggered. Watching them test, troubleshoot, and celebrate each breakthrough was honestly the highlight of my week. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students reacted the way middle schoolers do when they're genuinely excited. They crowded around the table, talking over each other, tossing out ideas faster than they could write them down.
