They do not play on the balls and wobble stools. They do not fall off or bounce. Simply, it is a positive way to help all students to get their wiggles out and be productive! It helps all learners, but I notice the biggest difference in my neurodiverse students. All students truly do benefit, especially those who need a more equitable learning environment. \r\n\r\nYour generosity allows my students for years to come to have a very positive mindset about sitting and working comfortably.\r\n\r\nStudents are excited to come to my class and use the flexible seating. The students love the option to stand during independent and group activities in the classroom. Once I had all 4 desks put together, they couldn't wait to find out who got to use them. I have since changed since 4 times so all the students that wanted an opportunity, had a turn. \r\n\r\nI love these desks. I believe the next step is to order more! The day I received the headphones, I brought the instructions home, so we could start using them right away. My students were so excited to use these headphones. First, I had to train my students on how to handle and use the headphones with proper etiquette. My students right away correctly learned how to use them and we were able to jump right into our lessons with using the headphones. \r\n The benefit with having these headphones have allowed my students to focus on our lessons instead of being able to hear three other teachers teaching their lesson in the same room. I have noticed their engagement improved immediately during the lessons. My students enjoy being able to use these headphones. I so much appreciate being able to get these headphones and see the excitement on my students faces everyday. The puppets we got through Donor's Choose helped to fill that role for the students AND gave them a new way to tell stories. \r\n\r\nStudents have loved reading with their new buddies and using them to retell stories. The characters are familiar to them and that makes a big difference. They know the stories by heart and can tell it the traditional way, or they can add their own flourish to the ending. \r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see the way the students interact with the puppets and how they use the stands to safely and easily put them back.
