The first one we did was to measure the effects of temperature on enzyme activity. The students had so much fun! We also used the dissolved oxygen meter to determine the rate of primary productivity in aquatic ecosystems. The students learned how to calibrate them too! My students are anxiously awaiting using the platform scale for when we do our pig dissections later in the school year.
