My students' faces lit up the moment they saw the new phonics and reading resources—you could feel their excitement in the air as they began exploring the games and books with curiosity and enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nWe've been diving into the Explode the Code books during our small group literacy time. These books are helping students strengthen foundational phonics and decoding skills, and it's been amazing to see how quickly they are gaining confidence. One moment that stood out: a student who typically hesitates when reading aloud suddenly raised her hand to read a sentence from her workbook—and she read it fluently! That moment gave her a boost of pride and lit a fire in the rest of the group.\r\n\r\nThe interactive games like Spelligator and Pop for Blends have been big hits during our literacy centers. Students collaborate to build words, decode sounds, and reinforce their learning through hands-on play. These resources have been especially effective for my English learners and emerging readers who benefit from tactile and visual learning.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using these materials to support our unit on word families and sight words. We'll be integrating the Sight Word Bingo and Pop for Word Families games into a class-wide \"Word Wizards\" challenge where students earn points for mastering tricky sounds and spelling patterns. It's a fun and motivating way to track progress while reinforcing key skills.\r\n\r\nYour contribution didn't just bring us books and games—it brought us joy, confidence, and momentum in reading.
