During independent reading, calming moments, small group work, and transitions, the environment helps students regulate their emotions and stay focused. The affirmation posters have also started meaningful conversations about confidence, kindness, and believing in themselves. They were smiling, cheering, and could not wait to get outside.\r\n\r\nWe immediately put the resources to use during our winter learning activities. One of our favorite moments was going outside after a fresh snowfall to build snowmen together as a class. While outside, we also turned the snow into a hands on math classroom by practicing equations and writing math problems directly in the snow. My students were fully engaged, active, and excited to learn in a new way. The winter gear allowed every child to participate comfortably and confidently.\r\n\r\nThese resources have helped create meaningful memories while also supporting learning, teamwork, and creativity.
