If you remember, you helped us get a few sheets of Scott foam, which is a moisture wicking foam, often used in mechanical filters, outdoor furniture, and puppets.\r\n\r\nIn the middle of a project, which was making a large octopus puppet, we ran out of foam, and had to pause our progress. These materials are not cheap, and as much as I don't ever want to, I asked for help. \r\n\r\nYou helped. It is so cool that you would do that. The materials came pretty close to the end of the year, and we are just now gearing up to work to use this stuff. All the same, the feelings that come along with being the direct recipient of someone supporting the arts, and especially children creating art, are overwhelming. \r\n\r\nThere are good folks in the world. This grant allowed me to purchase high interest books in both Arabic and French, which are our number two and three languages spoken here. Thanks to your donation, I was able to connect to some great options for students of all levels to read. Some \"side by side\" books in Spanish and French as well as high interest series in Arabic like Harry Potter and Wimpy Kid. I find books that highight their backgrounds, their experiences, their interests, their struggles, their cultures.
