However, when we did it was awesome. I need to have some fun and creative activities to do after testing. The kids were amazed by the use of dough as a way of learning to make a circuit. The project went well. We even went on the website and made our dough. Our second project was using the microbit additions to enhance coding. We did a series of rotations, and the kids loved . I must say it did offer stress relief over the three weeks of testing. Thank you to all who gave. We got right to work since we already discussed food webs and life cycles. Students loved the engaging posters with their details. They took apart those owl pellets without fear and had a blast! We were astonished to see how many complete skeletons we could put together! \r\n\r\nSince we experienced some rainy days, we also used the engineering boxes on those days. Students learned how to use tools and really enjoyed demonstrating their finished product with their classmates. We could not use the pinhole cameras as expected, but this year we started a camera club and by golly they are excited. We used the donations as templates to accommodate the extra students we were interested in. We will also make one out of the oatmeal carton and do a comparison. We are so excited. We are waiting to receive an order of pretreated photo paper for the cameras. I truly plan to do this again next year. Thank you for your donation. The children were so excited to have chairs to sit in while reading in our classroom library. The children also figured out that they can be moved so they are completely flat so it's also used as a doll bed. I love how they have made these their own and use them in ways that are meaningful to them.
