They have build rubber ducks with brain flakes, built hotels with inside rooms with magnetic blocks. They have even built vacuum cleaners with joint connectors. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when they recieved the materials because \"it was like nothing I have at home.\" I have never seen them play so quietly and gently with classroom learning tools. The learning carpet is also a huge hit, it is teaching them how to have boundaries regarding personal space, and they are able to know exactly their spot for learning.","fullyFundedDate":1724348624024,"projectUrl":"project/stem-from-the-beginning/8681532/","projectTitle":"Stem From the Beginning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Grose","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4996611_orig.jpg?crop=749,749,x0,y64&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1581402265955","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/kyladgrose"},{"teacherId":9713936,"projectId":8714743,"letterContent":"I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the generous donors that funded my \"School Librarian seeking STEM supplies\" project. Your support has made an impact on our library and the learning experiences of our students! When I first learned that our project was funded, I was overwhelmed with excitement as I this was my first successful grant! I was excited to share with the students that we would be getting new science kits.\r\n The arrival of the supplies brought an electric atmosphere to our 4th and 5th grade enrichment students, whom I see every day. They were ecstatic to explore the new Electromagnetic Exploration kit, the Magnet Levitation Kit and the Hydroponic Garden setup. I have personally found the science workbooks helpful in planning STEM activities. These hands-on experiences have truly enriched their learning and may have sparked a newfound passion for science and technology. The impact of your generosity extends beyond my enrichment classes. Learners as young as Pre-K and K have also enjoyed the Magnetic Science Tiles. Female students of all ages love the Women of Science poster, perfect for inclusion in Women's History Month. These new resources have been invaluable for all our elementary library classes, from pre-K through 5th grade as they have allowed us to create more engaging and interactive lessons for all our young learners.\r\nYour support has also reinforced the importance of our library as a community hub, fostering the welcoming, collaborative environment that defines a successful school library. From group projects using the STEM kits to shared science learning experiences with our new text materials, we're seeing students form stronger bonds and develop essential teamwork skills.\r\nThank you for believing in this project and investing in the future of our students.","fullyFundedDate":1733289312932,"projectUrl":"project/school-librarian-seeking-stem-supplies/8714743/","projectTitle":"School Librarian Seeking STEM Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Caitlin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/wfmorrisonlibrary"},{"teacherId":4996611,"projectId":8348334,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the new classroom library and bookshelf. My students are actively engaged in these books that were purchased. They love the plots and vibrant pictures. \r\n\r\nI am so happy to have incorporated Native American stories into my classroom library this year because it is so important to learn about the traditions and cultures of America's First People.
