By having the students do warm-ups every day in the same notebook they keep their notes in a central location and I am able to easily stamp them and ensure they were completed, as well as keep track of who is struggling to complete them, being able to intervene and support those students earlier before they fall too far behind.\r\n\r\nWhile notebooks and colored pencils seem like a simple thing, it makes a big difference to be able to provide it for the students and give them a choice, so thank you for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1758217954721,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-supplies/9649869/","projectTitle":"Classroom Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Tritt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9338100_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y88&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1697831110309","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrtritt"},{"teacherId":9338100,"projectId":9582210,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting my students. Using the flashcards, binder clips, and other supplies you helped fund, I've put together personalized sets of vocabulary flashcards that students can use during intervention time. Since vocabulary is such a foundational part of success in language learning, having these tailored tools has made it easier to target gaps and reinforce understanding in a hands-on, low-pressure way.\r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced the flashcards, students were surprisingly excited. For some, it was the first time vocabulary practice felt manageable — even empowering. They liked being able to physically move cards around, quiz themselves, and track which words they'd mastered. One student even asked if she could take her cards home to study more on her own, which was a huge win!\r\n\r\nCurrently, students are working through their personalized sets while we focus on key thematic units like greetings, weather, and classroom phrases. I rotate in new words based on quiz results and class discussions, so the intervention stays fresh and relevant.
