The classroom was full of energy as they shared ideas, learned from one another, and proudly showed off their finished products.\r\n\r\nThese projects have really encouraged creativity and teamwork. Students who are usually shy have started speaking up, offering suggestions, and taking the lead during work sessions. It's been great to see them gain confidence and take ownership of their work.\r\n\r\nWhat made me most proud was how the older students invited their younger siblings to join in. They took time to teach them the process and include them in each step. It gave the older students a chance to practice leadership while making the younger ones feel proud to be involved.\r\n\r\nNow that we have some inventory ready, our next step is to start talking about the business side — setting prices, managing supplies, and planning how to sell our products. The students are excited to learn how their creativity can grow into something even bigger.","fullyFundedDate":1753117071023,"projectUrl":"project/future-entrepreneurs-launching-our-stud/9406898/","projectTitle":"Future Entrepreneurs: Launching Our Student-Run Enterprise!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Smedegard","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10053735"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_131493","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":439,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":92,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":10,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":75,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":null,"schoolId":131493,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Virtual Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Virtual Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/san-bernardino-city-unified-school-district/virtual-academy/131493"}
