Not just for my kiddos who graduated but also my new 3 year-olds who just joined our room. Every item in this project has found a purpose. The day right after I assembled the rocking chair, a crowd of kiddos formed around it. They all loved it and continue to use it whenever needed! The sequence wall and numbers have been a hallmark in our room. They're placed right by the door, giving the students the opportunity to help regulate as they enter. \r\n\r\nThere is no just thing as too many sensory tools/fidgets! The textured bean bags, LED light switch boards, squeeze sensory toys, and spike balls have all helped! Not one tool works for every single child, so having a 'box of tools' to help meet the needs of each individual child has been the biggest blessing. And oh boy does it make a difference! I can't think of more necessary resources then the ones picked in this project. Everything gets used daily. From tissues to help us get through this sick season, to wipes for helping us tidy up after meals. A selection of preferred snacks for when we're a little hungry, to treats to get us through those heavy work tasks, each item is a win win. \r\n\r\nOur favorites are hands down the animal crackers and the goldfish crackers. Although the Gerber puffs have been the perfect on the go snack. Thank you for helping add a little bit of sugar, spice, and everything nice to our classroom! Keeping us healthy, well fed, and safe. These learning rugs have been a great addition to our classroom. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, so we moved our number rug, and our kids followed! These have been such a fun and simple way to add intention and learning potential to our classroom environment. The lead rope has made a smaller impact, but we're slowly beginning to make it work. Thank you all so so much for helping bring this project to my students.
