The goal is for students to realize they can use their new skills to care and grow their own fruit and veggies at home and possibly donate some of the produce to local shelters. \r\nThe boxes arrived at our classroom, and they were ecstatic to find out they were Donor's Choose donation. Immediately, they unboxed the items and began putting it together as it came in pieces. They had to refer to the manual as they tried to put it together without following instructions. Everything was assembled as it was meant to be, after following the manual instructions.\r\nStudents planted the seeds quickly and some have already sprouted. Today, as a matter of fact, will be transplanting seedlings as all did not make it.
