You might be surprised at how something so small can make such a big difference—but in our room, they truly have.\r\n\r\nThe stickers have become a quiet but powerful form of encouragement. You can actually see students light up when they receive one—it's not just about a reward; it's a sign that someone noticed their effort. Even our quieter students, the ones who don't always raise their hands or jump to the front of the line, feel seen when they earn one. A sticker might seem small, but for a child, it's proof that they matter.\r\n\r\nAnd the stress balls—what a game changer. For some students, it's hard to focus when emotions are high or energy is hard to manage. Having a stress ball nearby gives them something to do with their hands, a way to channel their restlessness or anxiety into something calming. It's amazing to see how just holding one can help a student refocus or calm down after a tough moment. It's also helped normalize the idea that everyone needs a break sometimes—and that's okay.\r\n\r\nWhat you've given us is more than supplies. You've helped create a classroom where students feel supported emotionally, not just academically. These small tools have helped us build a space that feels safe, encouraging, and full of little moments of joy.\r\n\r\nFrom all of us—thank you so much.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1730302987260,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health-destressing/8909090/","projectTitle":"Mental Health & Destressing","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Verdoza","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9754536_orig.jpg?crop=1358,1358,x341,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730230974154","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9754536"},{"teacherId":8361970,"projectId":8915168,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support of \"Geometry for Mental Health/Wellness.\" Your contributions have brought much-needed tools like stress balls, Jenga, activity cards, and the Four Circles strategy into our classroom, creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment. These materials have helped my students manage stress, stay focused, and build problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive way. One memorable moment was when students used the Four Circles strategy to organize their thoughts on geometric proofs, making challenging concepts more approachable and less overwhelming.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. Many shared that having stress-relief tools and interactive activities made math feel less intimidating. These resources have boosted their confidence and helped reduce math anxiety.
