The biggest highlight has undoubtedly been the books, which the kids have been incredibly excited to explore. They've fallen in love with their new reading area, and it has quickly become one of their favorite spots to spend time in. The hands-on materials have added a whole new level of engagement to our social work sessions, making them more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful. The kids respond so positively to these tools and look forward to using them every week.\r\n\r\nOur after-school book club, in particular, has especially enjoyed the books. They have enjoyed taking turns reading the books to the group and exploring the social-emotional topics of the books. These resources have not only supported their literacy growth but also helped them better understand and communicate their emotions. We are incredibly grateful for everything and you've made a real difference in their learning! These resources have transformed our Think About It Thursdays during morning meetings—students are more engaged, reflective, and eager to participate. The sensory tools are helping children self-regulate and stay focused, while the tent provides a safe, calming space that students can use when they need a quiet break or a place for independent reading.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest highlights has been reading The Thing Lou Couldn't Do, which quickly became our class favorite. The story inspired students to set personal goals, and together we created a bulletin board to showcase their determination and growth. None of this would have been possible without your generosity. Your support has provided not just materials, but meaningful experiences that will continue to positively impact our classroom community.","fullyFundedDate":1753713276721,"projectUrl":"project/calm-cozy-and-kind-tools-for-social-e/9422345/","projectTitle":"Calm, Cozy, and Kind: Tools for Social-Emotional Learning in Kindergarten","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8906659_orig.jpg?crop=1203,1203,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691108065550","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8906659"},{"teacherId":8881523,"projectId":8812632,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project, \"Cardio Drumming=A Boost in Brain Power and Increase Academic Performance\".
