They make numerous iterations of their projects ending up with something they are proud to share with a real audience. Students still need to do more research but this project is helping them to come up with great questions about design and the purpose of using solar energy. Having a hands-on model makes visualizing what they can create so much better. Students are designing amazing blueprints and figuring out what supplies they can use to create their moon habitat. \r\n Next year students will take it to the next level with a more advanced solar house that will tell the amps they are using as you suggested.
