My students and I were in awe of your kindness and they learned a valuable lesson about doing nice things for others.\r\nThe students were so happy and excited to see our beautiful classroom. It was decorated so nice and cheery.\r\nIt was wonderful to have new supplies for each student. Many of my students show up to school with no supplies so this was a great surprise for them to see. Having your own crayons, pencils and markers made to students feel special and it helped with their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1628803191573,"projectUrl":"project/welcome-to-1st-grade-our-beautiful-clas/5653663/","projectTitle":"Welcome to 1st grade! When we break into small groups in reading and math we have a technology station. We are fortunate that each student is issued their own personal chrome book during the school year. Our District has good programs available for our students to work and improve on their reading and math skills, but we don't always have the headphones necessary at school to keep up with the demand. Having headphones allows students to focus on their work and do the best they can without the distractions around the room affecting their performance. We really appreciate what you have helped to secure for our classroom and we are so grateful you invested in us.","fullyFundedDate":1733437854923,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-please/8693578/","projectTitle":"Headphones Please!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Broderick","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9684512"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44656","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":216,"numTeachers":13,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":90,"percentWhite":1,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.8,"schoolId":44656,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gwen T Jackson Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Gwen T Jackson Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/milwaukee-public-schools/twenty-first-street-elementary-school/44656"}
