We've been working through short, level-appropriate reading passages paired with guided questions, and the impact has been immediate. One standout moment occurred during a session with a small group of students who typically struggle to remember the difference between \"who,\" \"what,\" and \"where.\" We began by reviewing the Match and Sort Quickies activity, and then students read a short passage. They independently identified the setting and characters and answered simple comprehension questions about the story.\r\n\r\nWhile this may seem like a small step, it represents an important foundation for understanding more complex passages and participating in language-based classroom activities.
