For example, in a recent social studies project on Missouri's geography, students used the colored pencils and markers to draw three things found in Missouri and their favorite activity to do in Missouri. They also used the coloring materials to color homecoming posters for a parade. They used the clipboards to move around the room during group work for science lessons. The whiteboards have been an incredible tool for math centers, allowing students to quickly work through problems and explain their thinking to peers. The headphones have also been a game-changer during our independent reading and learning station times. Students are now able to listen to audiobooks, educational videos, and personalized instruction without distraction.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're going to be starting a science unit on magnets and electricity. Students will be doing group activities around the room using the clipboards. Additionally we are starting multiplication where the whiteboards will be utilized for math facts.
