They can point to where their brain, heart, lungs and stomach are in their bodies and place the plastic models in position on the body cutouts. My class was so excited to pick the material and style of clothing for each of their bodies, but when we brought out the cutouts of the body parts they were super proud that they knew where to put them. We made an interactive book with their dressed cutout on the front cover. On the inside, is a class poem and an interactive cutout with a student-drawn skeleton that can be lifted up to reveal the organs. The lungs even lift up to show the heart! These books will be displayed at our sustainable fashion show.","fullyFundedDate":1755463251914,"projectUrl":"project/body-parts-book/9552462/","projectTitle":"Body Parts Book","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Baune","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8523078_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1658438921794","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8523078"},{"teacherId":7956651,"projectId":9397163,"letterContent":"Thank you so much donors! We use the materials for Math and for Language Arts and as center activities. We use them everyday. During Math I have them use the plain white side. The lined sides we use during Language Arts. \r\n The lined sides are being used in a Writing center as well. The old set of dry erase lap boards we have are not magnetic and only have a plain white side. So the students were just drawing pictures. The new ones are great for the students to practice writing letters, numbers, and sight words. And they are doing just that. \r\n The letter magnets and magnetic lap boards are also being used in my manipulatives center. The kiddos love using the magnets to spell their names, the names of other friends in the class, and to match uppercase letters with their lowercase ones. \r\n Thank you very much for your kind donation. The kiddos and I enjoy using the materials and we use the every day.","fullyFundedDate":1732000172416,"projectUrl":"project/oh-boy-i-get-to-use-materials-like-my-t/8918102/","projectTitle":"Oh Boy, I Get to Use Materials Like My Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Duffy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7956651_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753831669418","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/shelly-duffy"},{"teacherId":61603,"projectId":8312963,"letterContent":"Thank you very much for your generous donation to our Butterfly Garden Project.
