It really helps make learning engaging and meaningful. With the teacher paid teacher gift card I was able to purchase many things to help my students have fun learning. The play-dough sight word mats help us build fluency as the children roll out the letters. The rolling cubes with letters help us build fluency and confidence with real and nonsense words. The math and reading bundle helps build on our goals in a fun way as they connect with the different seasons. The secret stories materials help make meaningful connections to help the children grasp all of those extra secret sounds the letters make when placed in particular orders. It also provides lots of handy tools to use within the classroom. The bottle cap centers help the children work in groups to build words. The CVC uno cards make reading a game and intrigue the children to want to read. The feed the frog cvc game is another way to make reading fun. \r\n All of the squishy toys are used as a positive insensitive to help motivate the students to work hard and to challenge their learning abilities. The sand timers are used to help redirect and calm students in a positive way to help them gather thoughts and help them think of how they can make better choices. With titles they specifically requested and books that align with our state standards, the library has become a centerpiece of our learning environment.\r\n\r\nStudents now have daily access to a variety of high-interest stories that spark curiosity and motivate them to read more. Many have discovered new authors and genres they might not have chosen otherwise, and their excitement for independent reading has noticeably grown. Providing them with a copy of this story gave them not only the joy of ownership, but also the chance to connect with a powerful message: that intelligence takes many forms. The book reinforces the idea beautifully captured in Einstein's words, \"But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its life believing it is stupid.\"\r\n\r\nThrough our shared reading, students have developed greater confidence in themselves and a deeper respect for each other's unique strengths.
