They were so excited to see all the puzzles and games, but the weighted stuffed animal takes the cake. My students have learned that when they need a quick break or they just need a little bit of comforting, they can go and hug Pete the Panda. \r\n\r\nThe puzzles have been a great way for my students to challenge themselves and work together. Its been awesome to see them encourage each other as they try to crack the logic puzzles. One of my students this year has a really hard time focusing on classwork but he actually spent most of recess one day trying to figure out one of the wooden puzzles. He was so excited when he figured out how to pull it apart and put it back together.\r\n\r\nWe will keep using these materials during indoor recess and calm-down time.
