When we first received the package and were building the drying rack, students were asking, \"What is that?\" \"Is that for painting?\" \"Are we going to paint?\" The students' excitement was through the roof. It was one thing to see something new, but another to know that we were going to paint.\r\n\r\nPainting is one of the favorites in my art studio. I have over 500 students, and I needed space for them to work while their paintings dry. This generous donation of a painting drying rack has allowed all students to paint. We are using our drying rack now as we work on our painting projects. Most of my students come from low-income families, so being able to do art at home can be tough. Many of my students are interested in furthering their skills but don't have the opportunity to take classes outside of school. Being able to give them high-quality lessons is always on my agenda, but I would not be able to accomplish that without your help.\r\n\r\nMost of my students' favorite type of art is painting, and as you may be aware, painting is not cheap. Allowing my students the freedom to make mistakes helps build their confidence in art, and I would not be able to do that without your generous support in helping me supply my painting studio in the art room.\r\n\r\nMy students are having a blast with their supplies, and being able to watch them take control over their own art-making process is a dream come true as an art teacher.
