We also focused on and Dr. Adayna Upchurch-Burrows,a pediatrician and who joined The Gambia Collaborative Project because of her desire to teach & share her experience as a physician in addition to seeing a new perspective of medicine in a non-Western environment and to experience a different way of life. \r\n\r\nWith the materials, students dressed up as doctors and learned about major organs in the body (the lungs and digestive systems) and pretended to be doctors and helped sick patients.
