Each student can now learn to use and care for a microscope, preparing them for high school biology and beyond. These microscopes also came with a ton of really cool slide samples that the kids are going to love exploring. The kit to make my own slides will be super helpful when I need to make slides of chloroplasts and stomata. I am very excited to be able to show them so much with this new setup. \r\nI love how lightweight these scopes are; the old ones are so heavy and hard to move. These new microscopes worked very well when we looked at sand in our Earth science unit, I really like the fact that I do not need two different microscopes, one for slides and one for specimens. The students will get a ton of use out of these this coming year! They have been able to find their work more easily, Maximizing their time in class. Studying has become much easier as well with everything organized into different folders. Many students enjoyed the color variety and personalized each folder for each unit. \r\n\r\nWith the amount of folders that I have been given, I was able to give each student a different folder for every unit that we've done in science. \r\n\r\nThey now have a stack of folders that they have used and they're proud of when these folders become so worn thin that they have to be replaced. \r\n\r\nThe extra folders are definitely helpful in making sure students can get a new folder when they need it. \r\n\r\nThe extra supplies of pens and pencils also were a great help. Students often spend a lot of time at the beginning of class, trying to hunt down a pen or pencil in their backpack or asking neighbors, it can be a lot.
