After having time to use these items with my students, I can confidently say they have had a positive impact on both learning and classroom culture.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options, including floor seats and wobble chairs, have helped students feel more comfortable and focused during lessons. Students are able to choose seating that works best for them, whether they are collaborating with peers, working independently, or taking a short movement break. This choice has increased student engagement and reduced distractions, especially for students who benefit from movement while learning.\r\n\r\nThe classroom rug has become an essential part of our daily routine. We use it for small-group instruction, and quiet reading time. It has created a warm, welcoming space where students feel safe to participate, share ideas, and learn together.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also been extremely valuable. Several students do not have access to headphones at home, so having them available in the classroom has allowed all students to fully participate in lessons that include videos, audiobooks, and digital learning programs. Students are better able to focus and work independently without distractions.\r\n\r\nOverall, these materials have helped create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. I am so grateful for your support and for helping me build a classroom that meets the needs of all my students.","fullyFundedDate":1762871009847,"projectUrl":"project/room-to-grow-with-mrs-d/9457957/","projectTitle":"Room to Grow with Mrs. D","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. DeBlasio","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10076505"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_63147","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":581,"numTeachers":11,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":81,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"52.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":62.5,"schoolId":63147,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Templeton Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Templeton Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/massachusetts/narragansett-regional-school-district/templeton-center-school/63147"}
