Many of them had never held an instrument like this before, and they couldn't wait to strum their first notes. There was a lot of excitement (and a few giggles!) as we tuned them up and made our first sounds.\r\n\r\nOur next steps will be to expand from single-chord songs to learning chord progressions, which will allow us to accompany even more songs and eventually perform as a group. Students were able to spend their money in our classroom store and purchase a variety of prizes or snacks.
