Having interesting group games is essential to my job when it comes to teaching social emotional skills to young students. \r\n\r\nGames like Sorry and Trouble give students ample opportunities to practice self-regulation and handle losing. They often had to deal with the game not going their way. We often practiced saying to ourself \"oh well, maybe next time\". I felt very rewarded when I heard from their classroom teachers that they heard these students say this to themselves in class when things didn't go their way. \r\n\r\nI am so incredibly pleased to see so much growth in my students and I wanted to thank you for helping to support my classroom so I can continue to give my best to my students.
