We have been reading more and enjoying our book discussions. Some of the titles were much awaited. \r\n\r\nFor example, Brandon Sanderson is a favorite author for many students, and we were missing some of his books. The support for the Chapter Chasers helped to provide more of his books for students to read and enjoy. His fantasy series and books are entertaining and raise so many incredible themes for students to explore and work through. Reading books like this help students deal with many ideas in a safe way. It builds empathy and compassion as we create windows for students to see and explore other ways of thinking.\r\n\r\nThe discussions have been lively lately as we are completing some of the reading on the new books and the students have had so many thoughts. We love hanging out and reading, then talking about our thoughts.\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your support and help.","fullyFundedDate":1725249858657,"projectUrl":"project/chapter-chasers/8724506/","projectTitle":"Chapter Chasers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lannen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9720074"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_78741","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":152,"numTeachers":14,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":98,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"10.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":null,"schoolId":78741,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Sweet Grass County High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Sweet Grass County High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/montana/sweet-grass-county-high-school-district/sweet-grass-co-high-school/78741"}
