The Dawn Cleaning spray is perfect for our mini kitchen area. Cleanliness is paramount to keeping all our kiddos as healthy as can be while in school! \r\nAlso, we asked for batteries and just cannot express how many items we use for instruction and for play take batteries! One student has this DJ Pig toy that never leaves her side and uses it after she completes a non preferred academic assignment. We have battery powered scissors that get used constantly for cutting and pasting activities. \r\nSpeaking of pasting, we got some new gluesticks from you all too! As you know, elementary school projects have at least some aspect of a cutting and pasting. The big magnetic money magnets have been really helpful. We use them to show different amounts of money, and the students get to count the coins and bills themselves. This makes the idea of money more real and easier to understand. They can touch and move the magnets around, which makes learning feel more active and engaging.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were so excited! They couldn't wait to touch the magnets and start using them. I could see how happy they were to work with something new, and they really enjoyed counting the money together. It was a great moment, and I could tell the materials helped them feel more confident with the lessons. The hands-on approach seemed to make everything click for them.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll build on what they've learned by practicing real-world situations. We'll use the magnetic money to pretend we're shopping, where students can practice budgeting and making change. The goal is to help them think about how to manage money in their daily lives. Thanks to the generous donations, my students are excited to keep learning and applying these skills in a fun and meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1726598063735,"projectUrl":"project/financial-literacy-and-cultural-awarenes/8792148/","projectTitle":"Financial Literacy and Cultural Awareness","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ben","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5610576_orig.png?crop=614,614,x395,y341&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1598734830218","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5610576"},{"teacherId":9567904,"projectId":8452353,"letterContent":"The new technology in our classroom is transforming the way our students learn, making education more engaging, interactive, and accessible. For many students, this is their first experience with technology they can control independently. With this adaptive technology, students are able to explore subjects in depth through games and art activities.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting aspect for my students is the opportunity to engage with hands-on learning experiences. For example, the interactive art supplies allow them to participate independently. The ability to control common classroom tools with more independence helps our students stay focused and motivated.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generous donations, we are able to bridge the technology gap, providing our students with the skills they need to thrive.
