I tried so many ways to make the math tools accessible for students. Nothing seemed to be just quite right. With your help and generous donations, I was able to purchase four cabinets with 7 drawers each! As I set up my classroom this year, I was so excited to watch my math area come to life!\r\n\r\nThe cabinets made it so easy to organize all of my math manipulates and games. Now, students are able to quickly and easily access any of the math tools that they might need for learning tools or math games. They know exactly where everything is and exactly where to put it back. They don't waste time looking for materials or asking me for things. This little change in my class has made a big impact on independence, organization, and focus! I won't lie, I also love how nice it looks! \r\n\r\nThank you for helping to make this possible! During out math intervention and instruction time, students are now able to go and grab the materials and manipulative they need in order to execute their task. The amount of time that is being saved from pulling out tubes from the floor or closet and trying to find the right one is astronomical. Once that section of the room was done, the students could not believe how easily and quickly they were able to find things. They love their new area. I was also able to bring out more hands-on games and materials for them to explore with. This made math time even more exciting!\r\n The other area that had a radical change was the reading intervention area. The cabinets have now been labeled with all the days lessons and worksheets. There is now room to add a table for guided reading groups! The students even know which drawer space for guided reading is theirs.
