This shelf is low so it is easy access for my kindergarteners. It has a pencil sharpener, extra pencils, crayons, and glue sticks on top for their daily needs. The students know that they can go at any time to refill their crayon boxes or grab another glue stick. \r\nMy goal is to eventually teach the students how to take the supplies from the shelf and set up their own independent centers. Centers in kindergarten are hard to learn because they are not only working on implementing the new skill of the week, but also learning to be independent.
